Norbert "Bob" Krause

Norbert "Bob" Krause, 85, of Shady Cove died Aug. 27, 2007 at his home.
The memorial service for Mr. Krause was held Aug. 31 at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Krause was born in March 1922 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Henry and Minnie Krause. On Jan. 26, 1944, he married Shirley Crosby.
He served in the 96th Division during world War II, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for gallantry, the Purple Heart and the Sharp Shooter Badge.
Mr. Krause operated and owned several service stations in Ashland. After retirement in 1980, he traveled extensively with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, a son, Douglas, of Modesto, Calif., daughters, Barbara Payne of Dallas, Ore., Connie Ortwein of Lakeview and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice group, ASANTE at 2960 Doctors Park Drive, Medford, OR 97504.
