The third in a series of six Upper Rogue wine tasting events will take place Saturday, Sept. 8 at five locations, from 11- 5 p.m. Participants are invited to stop and "Sip a Spell" during the "Porch Sipping" event and then collect a coupon for dining at one of the area’s fine restaurants.
Your tour can begin at any one of the wineries. Maps will guide you from one location to the next.

Creek Mill, 402 No. Royal Ave. (541) 826- 3531 will feature wine from
Edenvale Winery in Medford. And, Ralph McKechnie will be signing his
book, Fistfull of Biscuits and cooking up one of the many recipes from
- Crater Lake
Cellars, 21882 Hwy. 62 in Shady Cove, (541) 878-4200. They will also be
pouring their Wood House White at the Wood House, just north of Eagle
Point. And they will have a book to express thanks to Judson Parson and
Diane Gardener, who have purchased the land and saved the Wood House.
They won a silver medal for their 2005 Syrah.
