Clock ran out on Eagles at KU

The Eagles  lost a tough one on Friday night 40-32 to a very good Klamath team in Klamath Falls.
Eagle Point went behind 13-0 early in the first quarter but  went in down just one point at halftime 13-12.  "We turned the balll over in the third and fourth quarter, but managed to tie the game 32-32 with 4:30 minutes left," said Coach Harry Hedrick. Klamath scored  with 3:48 on the clock and after one possession each the Eagles drove down as the clock was expiring, but time ran out.

Scott Erickson was 34-50 for 346 yards and Garrett Davis had a combined 269 yards on the ground and receiving and one touchdown.  Jake Ringrose scored two TD’s, one receiving and one rushing.  Eagle Point had over 500 yards of offense, but had trouble giving up the big play on defense and too many turnovers in the second half.

The Eagles travel to the Bay area for a game this Friday. Oct. 26 is Homecoming with Ashland.
