Dorlan Woods

Dorlan Woods, 81, died at his home in Medford. He was formerly from Prospect.
Mr. Woods was born on May 12, 1926 in Dickens, Iowa to Floyd Marvin and Bernice Grace (Spangler) Woods.
On Dec. 12, 1952, in Hoquiam, Wash., he married the former Margaret Coey, who survives. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.

In 1955, they moved from Montesaro, Wash. to Prospect, Ore. In 1992, they moved to Medford.
Woods was employed with the U.S. Forest Service in Prospect for 21
years and was the minister for the Prospect Church of Christ for 33
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons,
Timothy, of Las Vegas, Nev., Samuel, of Bandon, Daniel, of  Washougal,
Wash., and David, of Springfield; a daughter, Rebecca Rivera, of Gates,
Ore.; a foster son, Bill Lang, of Portland; numerous grandchildren; two
sisters, Donna Miler, of Tacoma, Wash., and Lorene Keller, of Tacoma,
Wash.; and two brothers, Bud Marvin Woods of Waxhaw, N.C. and Bob
Woods, of Sumner, Wash.
The memorial service for Mr. Woods
was held Oct. 12 at the West Main Church of Christ in Medford.

Memory-Gardens Mausoleum.
