Eagle volleyball off to excellent start

Tuesday, Sept. 25,  the Eagle Point Varsity Volleyball Team made the trek over to the Klamath Basin to play the Mazama Vikings. After a slow start and a loss in the first game, 19-25, the Eagles responded by winning three straight games 25-11, 25-10, 25-14.
Team Libero, Marsha DeVaughn lead the team with 29 digs while Ashley Joesephson lead with her 20 assists and 21 digs. Outside hitter Katie Jolliffe pounded down 17 kills and had 9 digs. Ellery Kaiser had 11 assists and Taylor Hagey had 8 kills.
Head Coach Jill Carrigan is upbet about Eagle Point starting league play with two wins and one loss, with the one loss coming last week to the Crater Comets. Please support the Eagle’s quest to return to the playoffs by coming out to the EPHS gym on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 7pm as Eagle Point hosts the Ashland Grizzlies.
