On Oct. 2, Lincoln Savage came into town. They have always been known
to be a hard hitting team and this year was no different.  The Panthers
struck first with a Hartman 4 yard run and Wilkerson converted the
extra point.  The Panthers scored on Lincoln Savage’s next possession
when Jesse Sattler intercepted a screen pass for a touchdown.  The
extra point failed.

On the ensuing kickoff, Lincoln Savage
returned it for a touchdown and the half time score was 13 – 8.  At
halftime we reminded the kids that they came to play. They were hungry.
They needed to do their jobs and help each other out.  The Panther’s
next score was on a Justin Hartman interception for a touchdown.  The
score was 19 – 8.  Johnny Wilkerson scored the next touchdown on a 35
yard run that put the Panthers up 27 – 8.  Eric Radcliffe scored the
next two touchdowns with on touchdown coming late in the 4th quarter to
put the final score at 41 – 8.
