Alpha Edwin (Babcock) Arthur Jr.

Alpha Edwin "Ed" (Babcock) Arthur Jr., 75, died in White City on Nov. 2, 2007. He had battled the effects of emphysema and kidney failure for some time.
Mr. Arthur was born in Talent on May 19, 1932. He grew up in the Klamath Falls area where he attended Pelican High. He served in the Air Force for a number of years, finally settliing in the Sacramento area. He has been in the Rogue Valley for the past eight years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with membership in the White City Ward.
He is survived by a younger brother,F.T. "Ton" Babcock.He was preceded in death by his father, Alpha Edwin Arthur Sr. and his mother, Zelma Florence Ray, a young brother, Donald Ray Babcock and his son, Douglas Gene Babcock.
Funeral arrangements were by Perl Funeral Home with services Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. with graveside services at the Eagle Opoint National Cemetery.
