Kathy Patton

Kathy Patton, 82, died Nov. 10, 2007 at the Rogue Valley Manor Health Center in Medford.
She was born Kathryn Gedie Ball on April 12, 1925 in Lubbock, Texas.
At age 18, she purchased, with the help of her father, a café in Lubbock, Texas. In 1951, she married the love of her life, WWII veteran Arnold L. "Pat" Patton. They were together for 25 years until his death in 1974,
In 1975, she met Paul Harrington who became her companion and friend until his death in 1993.
Ms. Patton was a business owner, bought, remodeled and sold real estate, and became an accomplished paralegal. She enjoyed her friends and the outdoors.
She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1974. She is survived by a large and loving family of friends who will miss her good cheer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manson Clyde Ball and Mary Etta Lee Ball, her brother MC "Mac" Ball, her husband, Arnold "Pat" Patton and her friend and companion, Paul Harrington.
There will be a gathering of friends at the Skyline Plaza at the Rogue Valley Manor on Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to your favorite charity.
