Upper Rogue schools working together

Butte Falls is partnering with Prospect and Eagle Point to enhance their education program.
Butte Falls and prospect have organized a book-a-thon. A trophy will be given to the winning level that can read 10 books and answer the questions developed by the state. There will be two levels: Grades 3-5 and grades 6-9. The trophy will be given at some event wherein both schools are present.
Lee Shupe, who works in D9 curriculum improvement , will be providing instruction to the staff on literacy.
Mr. Burns, Small Engine Class instructor, is going to observe that class at Eagle Point High School.
A recent book fair raised approximately $1,500.
