William L. Gray, 71, of White City died Nov. 1, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Gray came to the Rogue Valley from Wenanchee, Wash. He was a Korean War veteran and a member of the Eagles Lodge.
He worked for Kennedy Guns and Furniture for more than 25 years. He was known for his strong sense of right and wrong. He was a man of his word and he would not give you his promise unless he knew he could be true to it. He loved his horses, dogs and ranching. He was a true friend to his ranching partner, Bill Friedel.
He was proud to say he was the Seventh Son of the Seventh son.
He is survived by his sisters, Adris Carter and Jean Venable ; brothers, Jack and Bruce; his children, Benjamin and Bruce Gray, Pearl and Glenda. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, Dale and Billy.
At his request there was no funeral or memorial service.
