Alice Marie White, 85, died on Jan. 10, 2008 at Providence Medford Medical Center after a brief illness.
She and her husband, Edward, spent their early years in many countries while he was in the Air Force.
She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1975. She loved the life she lead here and she made the "love of God" visible in the example she lived and shared. She was active in the Lady Rogue Red Hat Society and Legion of Mary. She will certainly be missed by family and all those she touched throughout her life.
She is survived by a brother, three sisters, a son, five daughters, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, who died in 1966.
The service for Ms. White will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Shady Cove, Tuesday, Jan. 15. Viewing will be at 9:30 at the church, followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow. Interment will be at the Eagle Point National Cemetery at 1 p.m.
