This week has been a tough week for the Eagle’s basketball teams. Austin Rowley made 19 points for the Eagle’s , which was two more than Thigpen,  Ashland’s highest point scorer. However the Grizzlies early lead continued throughout the game. Several three point shots and a strong defensive and offensive from Ashland lead to a 69-35 loss for the Eagles.

The girls in Ashland had a difficult time against the third ranked team. The first quarter lead of 16-1 continued to hold out through the night. The Lady Eagles ended their night with a 58-22 loss. Standing out for Eagle Point was Taylor Hagy with 11 points scored

Hopefully the coming weeks will be looking up for both varsity teams.
