Jack Junior Jermain

Jack Jermain, 74, of Eagle Point, died Dec. 31, 2007 at Providence Medford Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 8, 1933, in Colton, Calif., to Jack W. and Martha F. Jermain. He was the eldest of three children. He excelled in tennis, basketball and bowling as a youth and loved to fly fish.
Mr. Jermain moved to Oregon in 1960 with his three children. He had a deep love for southern Oregon. He worked as a parts manager for Dick Knight Co. and Lithia Dodge, and then owned his own parts store, Jack’s Auto Parts, in Eagle Point. The store was located in downtown Eagle Point and later in the Greatway Shopping Center, occupying the office space where the Upper Rogue Independent is now located.
He is survived by his wife, Judy A. Jermain,; his mother; a sister, Doris; and sons, Mike and Jack D; a daughter, Linda; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Dick; and a great-grandson, Phoenix.
