Edward J. Zander

Edward J. Zander died after a long battle with cancer at his home in Ft. Worth, Texas on February 17, 2008 with his family at his side.
Mr. Zander was born in North Dakota in 1923 and is survived by his wife, Betty J. Zander, two daughters: Patricia Swenson and Connie Shreeve, as well as two sons: Michael Zander and Barry Zander. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Zander  was active in the military at Camp White during World War II as a Military Policeman. He was a past Jackson County Deputy Sheriff, Medford and Central Point Police Officer, Chief of Police in Central Point and City Recorder for Central Point. He enjoyed camping, fishing, wood working and spending time with his family, friends and neighbors.
