Geneva R. Fuerst

Geneva R. Fuerst, 47, of White City, died March 25,2008 at home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1960 in Maywood, Calif. She married Carl G. Fuerst and they came to Oregon in 1990.
They opened Mom’s Kitchen restaurant in White City which later became The Lighthouse Café. They sold the business and retired in 2006. Mrs. Fuerst was baptized at Applegate Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Fuerst, of White City; a daughter, Carla Fuerst, Central Point; three sisters; Raylene Jackson, Grants Pass, Deon Beekler and Teresa Freeman, both of Florida; three brothers, Mark Freeman and Johnny  Freeman, both of California, Joseph Freeman, Central Point; and her parents Lawrence and Nadine Freeman of Grants Pass.
The funeral service for Mrs. Fuerst was held April 5 at Memory Gardens Chapel. Entombment at Memory Gardens Mausoleum was private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon Cancer Society. Memory Gardens was in charge of arrangements.
