Keith O.Hubbell

Keith O. Hubbell, 76, of Butte Falls, died March 31, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Hubbell was born on May 8, 1931 in Hermiston, Oregon, to Aaron Doyle and Rosetta Irene (Agee) Hubbell. He attended schools in both Boardman and Stanfield, Oregon. Mr. Hubbell served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean War.
On Sept. 29, 1952, in Weiser, Idaho, he married Aurilla Young. They moved their family to Butte Falls in 1965.
An old-time logger, Mr. Hubbell began his 35-year career with the use of horses to log timber, ending with the use of skidders. He logged under the name of Hubbell & Son’s Logging. His hobbies included horses, fishing, gardening and parades. Locally, he was known as "Iza Clown."
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Aurilla, include sons, Ralph of Weldon, Calif., Ron of Mountain View, Hawaii, Ray of Bakersfield, Calif., Russ of Pikeville, N.C. and Rodney of Red Bluff, Calif; a daughter, Amelia McKinley of Medford; a sister, Wanda Dickenson of Kennewick, Wash., brother, Curtis Hubbell of Roseburg, 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Richard, sister, June and brother, Carl.
The memorial service for Mr. Hubbell was April 7 at 1 p.m. at the Butte Falls Community Hall with Pastor Richard Bull officiating. Burial followed at the Butte Falls Cemetery,
