Mary Thelma Jansen

Mary Thelma Jansen was born Nov. 27, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri.
    
She lived in the Bay Area for 48 years before moving to Eagle Point 20 years ago. She retired from Applied Technology after 20 years of service.  She was married to Clyde Wilson for 19 years before he passed in 1970. Mary remarried in 1976 to Victor (Doc) Jansen who passed in 2007.

Mary was an active participant at the Eagle Point Center. For the past
10 years she organized the Christmas Baazar and numerous trips to Reno.
She participated in the Women’s Quilting Club and worked in the
kitchen. Mary also volunteered with Food and Friends for the past 10
years.
   
Mary enjoyed her family and friends, as well as
gardening, sewing, cooking, Boston Terriers, the Seven Dwarfs, John
Wayne ane Frank Sinatra. She was employed at Medford Fuel for the past
three years.
   
Mary is survived by her brother, George
Schwoerer; her seven children: Lisa, Tim, Joe, Bill, Donald, Gerald and
Pat; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
   
She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
   
A
reception was held prior to the funeral Mass at Shepherd of the Valley
Catholic Church on Friday, April 25. Interment was at Eagle Point
National Cemetery.
