Picnic in Park tickets are ready

Tickets are on sale for   Picnic in the Park to be held from 1p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday May 26 at Harnish Wayside Park in Eagle Point.  The event will benefit the City of Eagle Point children’s programs including the Junior Eagles volleyball and basketball programs, summer day camp and the
Adult tickets are $20, children will be free. Call Wyn Lewis at 890-6016 or they may be purchased at the Eagle Point City Hall.

Wine tasting will be offered by Agate Ridge Winery and Crater Lake
Cellars.  A gourmet bar-b-que picnic will be provided while you enjoy
live music by The Southern Oregon Jazz Revue featuring Jeff Addicott,
Paul Jenny, Tom Freeman, Larry Cavalier, Tom Stamper, John Dempsy, Dave
McClure and friends.  
There will be a silent auction at 3
p.m. Enjoy the Art Walk along Little Butte Creek featuring the work of
Alice Berger, Karen Cain-Smith, Bob Faulkner, Marilyn Gregory, Charity
Hubbard, Ralph MeKechnie, Dave Nelson, Kim Ragsdale and Carl Seyboldt. 
Tour the Harnish Wayside building and gather information about our
watershed, area attractions and enjoy the art and sculptures created by
Ali Pearson for the building.  Bocce Ball and other lawn games and will
be available for the young and the restless.  The Eagle Point Women’s
Club is helping staff this event.  The Picnic in the Park committee is
seeking corporate sponsors, and donors for a silent auction to be held
