Vincent A. Gallo

Vincent A. Gallo, 79, of Central Point, died April 8,
2008 at Waterford Assisted Living in Medford.

Dr. Gallo was born on May 1, 1928, to Vincenzo Gagliolo
and Concetta Scucchia, in Cleveland, Ohio. 
On Nov. 24, 1960, at All Souls Catholic Church in South San Francisco,
he married Joan M. Madden.

He received a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon and
spent his life working as both a teacher and an administrator. He was an
administrator in School District 9 and also with the Southern Oregon Education
Service District. He also served in the U.S. Army in Korea.

Dr. Gallo’s interests included education and Christian
history.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters,
Lesly Gordon, of Soldotna, Alaska and Heidi Schulzke, of Medford; sons, Frank
Gallo of Puyallup, Wash. and David Gallo, of Vancouver, Wash.; and nine
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as two
brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at an unspecified date in
June at the Community Bible Church in Central Point.
