WaMu robbery suspect caught

On April 2 at about 11a.m.,
the Medford Police Department was contacted by the United States Marshals
Service, who advised they had Ronald Green, 45, in their custody.  Green was arrested in a residence in the 6000
block of Skunk Hollow Road, Florence, Oregon after their investigation led them
to that address.  He was transported to
the Jackson County Jail, where he was lodged on a Federal Warrant for Parole
Violation – Bank Robbery, as well as MPD’s arrest warrant for the robbery of
the Washington Mutual Bank.  There is no
bail for Mr. Green.

Throughout this investigation, Green has been identified
as a suspect in 10 other bank robberies in Oregon, Nevada and Utah.  The Medford Police are working with the
Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding these cases.
