Grand opening June 20 for La Quinta Hotel

LaQuinta Brookside Inn four-story hotel in White City is open for business. They had a grand opening Friday, June 20.
   
Each room features a flat screen television and high speed Internet access.  There is a large swimming pool and exercise room. Breakfast is included with each reservation.
   
Community facilities will include a breakfast room that will seat 60 and there is a facility  with the appropriate arrangements for a conference room.
   
Not only is pricing competitive, those 18 and under stay free.
   
The hotel is fully booked for the first three weekends. They are the official host hotel for the National Hot Rod Association. Hot rod cars will be on display for the grand opening as racers prepare for a weekend event at the Jackson County raceway.
   
A special feature at the hotel is the lighted waterfall. Funded by the Jackson County Urban Renewal Agency, it is especially attractive after dark. There are three 500 gallon tanks that circulate 1500 gallons of water over the large rocks and trees. Casey Arcen of Mountainscape Waterfalls designed the feature.
   
The 72-room hotel is owned by Tim Baker and Jim Bennett. Andrew Faw is the manager.
