Vincent A. Gallo

Vincent A. Gallo, 79, of Central Point died April 8, 2008 at Waterford Assisted Living, in Medford.
He was born May 1, 1928 to Vincenzo Gagliolo and Concetta Scucchia in Cleveland, Ohio.
He married Joan M. Madden on Nov. 24, 1960, at All Souls Catholic Church in South San Francisco. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon and spent his life working as both a teacher and administrator. He was an administrator in School District 9 and at the Education Service District in Medford. He also served in the U.S. Army in Korea.
His interests were education and Christian history.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Lesly Gordon, of Soldotna, Alaska and Heide Schulzke of Medford; sons Frank Gallo of Puyallup, Wash. and David Gallo of Vancouver, Wash, and nine grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service was held on June 11 at the Community Bible Church in Central Point.
