Junior Rodeo at Expo July 26-27

The Southern Oregon Junior Rodeo will mark its 28th year on July 26 & 27 with its show at the Jackson County Expo. The rodeo will showcase the talents of cowboys and cowgirls between the ages of 5 and 19.
They will be competing for a variety of prizes including saddles, buckles, and jackets. Timed events will be held, like barrel racing, team roping, goat tying, and mutton busting. The rodeo will also feature the rough stock events of bull riding, saddle bronc riding, and bareback riding.
This year, Alex Bates was crowned Southern Oregon Junior Rodeo Queen. Leandra Millard was crowned Princess.
There will be beautiful horses, dangerous bulls, and exciting competition from the rodeo stars of tomorrow.  Grab your hats and your boots, your friends and your family, and come out to the rodeo. Admission is free and the rodeo begins at 10 a.m. For more information visit www.sojra.com.
