White City has family events, June 29 and July 20

White City is busily becoming more and more community minded as they line up monthly events for the entire family.
Sunday, June 29, from 5- 7 p.m. at Burns Park bring your picnic and enjoy ice cream for dessert while listening to live music from "Refuge."
The event is sponsored by Umpqua Dairy and Price Less Food.
Community representatives will be available to provide information about the five year Ford Institute Leadership program grant. As part of that program, leadership members are seeking grants and will be fund raising to construct a covered picnic area at Burns Park.
July 20 there will be events from 10-6. That day will begin with an open house at Cascade Pool from 8-10 a.m. Battle of the Bands and the Dub C Skateboard HoeDown will run from 10-6 p.m.
