Charlotte Carter Moore

Charlotte Carter Moore, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 15, 2008.
She was born to Lora and Reed Carter on Nov. 5, 1926 in Rogue River, Ore. She attended Rogue River schools, graduating in 1944. On June 13, 1943, she married Charles Moore in Crescent City, Calif.
After completing high school she moved to southern California to be with her husband who was in the Marines. During World War II she worked in a defense plant. After the war they returned to Oregon where they started their family.
She began work at Harry and David and later worked as a secretary at Eagle Point High School.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years. Chuck, her daughters, Christine Gates, Karen Wittwer, Nikki Cox and their families. Preceding her in death was her son, Reed Louis Moore, her mother and father.
She touched many lives and will be remembered for her self-sacrifice and listening ear. She will be missed by many.
There will be no service at her request.
