More victories for EPMS

On Monday, Sept. 22, the 7th grade EPMS JV Volleyball team
faced their toughest opponent yet.  They
lost the first game 21-25 after putting up a tremendous fight. The Panthers
took an early lead in game two and never let up, forcing a game 3 to decide the
match. The Panthers played tough and never gave up, but Hedrick still edged
passed them.  Maddie Hatfield and Fiona
Nevin of the Panthers were integral in EPMS
passing and scoring drives.

Following a tough practice on Tuesday morning, the Lady Panthers took
to the court on Wednesday to face the McLoughlin Bulldogs. The Panthers won the
first game 25-22.  The second game proved
to be an edge of your seat, wild ride. At the mid-point of the game the
Panthers found themselves behind by several points. Shanna Fogle and Amanda
Jenshus stepped up for the Panthers at the line and quickly gave them the lead.  The game see-sawed back and forth for several
points until the Lady Panthers on a hustle play were able to send the ball back
over into Mac
=s deep court for a one point lead.  This lead was all it took for Fogle to drop
in the winning serve to give EPMS the match winning game two 29-27.

The ladies will take on Talent and McLoughlin at home this week B Go Panthers!
