Klamath Union let the Eagles know they had a player by the name of Luke Porter who likes to score and score he did. He crossed the line for three TDs, all on short yardage. But he scored and that mattered as KU trounced the Eagle’s Homecoming 35-14. For EP, Garret Davis scored in the first quarter on a 45 yd. pass from Austin Marlia.

Marlia scored in the 4th on a 4-yard run.

KU had 23 first downs to the Eagles 10, rushing the Eagles had 29 carries for 138 yards while KU had 44 carries for 282 yards.

Marlia had 74 yards while KU total 183.

The Eagles had five penalties for 32 yards while KU had seven for 56 yards.

The Eagles have several juniors and seniors on the team, but some have not actually played since middle school days.

This year is Jake Schauffler’s first year. But don’t forget, he knows about winning from his days at Eagle Point.

The KU game was the last home game for the season. This week they travel to Hidden Valley and on Halloween they will be in Ashland.
