The wineries and farms of the Upper Rogue Region are celebrating the season with this month’s event titled, “Turkey Games,” Nov. 8, from 11-5 p.m. A fun filled day centered on “fowlish” games, tasting of local foods and wines, and enjoyment of the autumn splendor that is coloring the farms of the Upper Rogue Region. Each location will be conducting games that will allow the participant to build up discounts. Each location will also be collecting food for Access Food Share, and are encouraging people to bring canned foods during the next months.
The Upper Rogue River Wine and Farm Tour is a non-profit group which encourages the agricultural, historical and tourism aspects of the Upper Rogue region. Each member participates in regular Second Saturday events which provides fun, complimentary events to encourage people to discover and “Escape to the Upper Rogue”. Some of the previous events included; The Wood House Celebration, What’s my Wine, Vintage Faire, Women who Wine, Wine in the Woods and Wine O lympics.

A beautiful 100+ year homestead and farm converted into a vineyard and winery. This award winning winery showcases estate wines such as Pinot Gris, Viognier, Petite Syrah, Rousanne, Marsanne, Pinot Noir. This location is open Tuesday – Sunday 11- 5p.m.
Historic Butte Creek Mill: 402 N Royal Ave. 826-3531
This 130+ year old Flour Mill offers stone ground flours and products produced in this historic Grist Mill. Enjoy the grounds including the incredible antiques and Little Butte Creek meandering by and powering the mill. This location is open daily: 9- 5 and Sunday 11-5 p.m.

Game: Turkey Bowling
With the award winning winery located in downtown Shady Cove at the old District #4 Fire Hall and it’s Vineyard just down the road in Eagle Point, this small production, family winery produces wines showcasing photographic art of the Upper Rogue Region. Vast arrays of wines are offered for your enjoyment. Open daily 11:00 am – 5:30 pm

Game: Pin the Feathers on the Turkey
Located just outside Gold Hill with its beautiful vineyard and 1866 Stage Stop converted into a Tasting Room, this award winning winery is a must stop in the Upper Rogue. With its Historical site and Classic wines, one can enjoy the view while tasting Claret, Merlot, Malbec, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Rose’ Jolee. Open Daily 11 am – 5 pm.
