White City boxer wins again

Juan Almaraz won his third professional fight Sept. 27 in Las Vegas.
The White City boxer defeated Chris Tyler of St. Louis, Mo. The four-round bout had one judge giving all four rounds to Almaraz, another judge gave him three rounds and while the third judge gave each boxer two rounds.
Tyler had a 2-2-1 record. His two wins were against fighters with a combined record of 10 wins, one tie and one loss.
The event was held at the Paris Resort & Casino. Almaraz’ next fight will be in Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho on Oct. 30.
The EPHS graduate is now ranked in the Top 200 welterweights. He entered the match ranked number 800.
