Jack C. Davis

Jack C. Davis, formerly of Eagle Point and more recently of Sams Valley, was born in December 1920, in Oklahoma to Budman and Angil Davis.
He served as a Staff Sergeant in the 591st Army Air Force Base Unit. Mr. Davis raised his three children in Concord, Calif., where he worked at the Naval Base as a crane operator for 20 years.
He loved to fish and hunt. He retired and moved to Burns, Ore., then to Klamath Falls, with his son. After his son passed away in 1994, Mr. Davis moved to Eagle Point to be closer to him.  He will be buried with his son at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Davis and Peggy Davis, both of Eagle Point; a brother, Budman Davis and a sister, Cleo Pittzer.
For the past three years Mr. Davis has lived at Blue Mission Senior Care in Sams Valley where he was treated with respect and kindness. He enjoyed playing dominoes with the ladies and going to garage sales.
