Juanita Mae Moore, 66, of Butte Falls, died Nov. 12, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born Dec. 18, 1941, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to John Wm. and Vera Louise (Grove) Sutherland and came to the Rogue Valley when she was still very young. She married Darwin P. Moore, who survives, in 1973.
Mrs. Moore was a beautician working for The House of Beauty in Medford. She enjoyed gardening and was very family oriented, especially toward her children and grandchildren.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Neal Chase of Butte Falls, and Phillip Moore, of Eagle Point; three brothers, Jack Sutherland, of Ashland, Jerry Sutherland, of White City and Forest "Bud" Sutherland , of Klamath Falls, and five grandchildren.
A celebration of life and potluck will be held from 1-3 p;m. Sunday, Dec. 14 at the Butte Falls Community Hall.
