Krystina Marie Kahut

Krystina Marie Kahut was born Sept. 28, 1988 in Eagle Point, Oregon. She died Sunday Nov. 16, 2008, two weeks after being placed on the donor list for a heart and lung transplant.
She is survived by her mother and father, Sarah and Ed Kahut of Sams Valley,  Her older brother, Marine PFC Joseph Kahut and his wife, Aimee of Jacksonville NC., younger brother AJ and younger sisters, Juli, Tori, Shaynie and Trisstan, all of Sams Valley.

Krystina was a graduate of Crater High School. She was an accomplished
and published writer of poems.  She also has written a children’s book,
which is in the process of being illustrated.  She loved camping,
swimming, shopping and reading. She also loved to spend time as the
biggest fan of her siblings who played sports
As much of a
struggle it was over the last 20 years for her to live her life with
her disease, she loved to live it.  Her most cherished possessions were
her family and her friends. Krystina touched the life of many and will
not ever be forgotten.
Krystina and her whole family would
like to thank the city of Eagle Point and surrounding area for their
support when Krystina was born and diagnosed with heart and lung
disease and had to make the long trip to Boston Children’s Hospital. 
Without your support the long three month trip and stay in Boston would
have been very difficult and stressful, Thank you from the bottom of
our hearts and we know that Heavenly Father has blessings for all of
Funeral arrangements have been made by Perl Funeral
Home.  Services will be held at the Central Point Stake Building of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the corner of Grant and
Taylor in Central Point on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m.  Donations may
be made at either Washington Mutual Bank or PremierWest Bank in her
