Creche festival open to all

More than 100 nativity scenes will be available free for public viewing Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Church of Latter-day Saints, corner of Linn Road and Highway 62. Lysa Drake, a senior at Eagle Point High School, has long been fascinated with nativity scenes. This year, because of her interest, she is in charge of the Creche Festival at the LDS Church.
    
The public is more than welcome to view these special nativity scenes. A number of family heirlooms. There will be all sizes in a wide variety of materials.
   
There will be musical numbers, a live nativity and a special children’s table where they there will be some nativities they can touch and pictures they can color.
