SC Merchants bring the holidays to town

Restaurants, lodging, and local merchants come together to share the joy of the season by extending a rural hospitality to visitors on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13 at the 3rd annual "Christmas in the Village" of Shady Cove,

Retail shops and others will feature a two-day sidewalk and in-store
sales, both days, with unique gifts big and small, including new and
used books, vintage furnishings, handmade knit scarves and hats,
quilts, rock and mineral specimens, baskets, birdhouses, fresh cut
wreaths, decorations, and a number of artisans gifts, including
handcrafted candies and wines.

On Friday, between 5 p.m. and 7
p.m. Santa and his helpers arrive at the Jackson County District No. 4
Fire Station, followed at 7:15 p.m. with tree lighting at Chapparal
& Hwy 62.    

On Saturday, Dec. 13, "Hop on Board" the
Holiday Express Trolley.  The Trolley Station is at Two Pines
Smokehouse with departures (Saturday only) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The
trolley is free with stops throughout town, including the Upper Rogue Community Center’s
Saturday Christmas Bazaar.     

Restaurants
are encouraging shoppers to dine Bistro Style at Bel Di’s, Fiesta at
Miguel’s overlooking the Rogue River, in an All-American Family
Restaurant at Two Pines Smokehouse, a saloon, deli, pizza or sandwich
shops.
