The Rogue Valley Association of REALTORS® (RVAR) released the most recent home sales data for Jackson County. The data, compiled by the Southern Oregon Multiple Listing Service, covers the ninety day period ending January 31, 2009.
Existing home sales remained relatively steady as compared to the same
period last year, falling by fifteen units from 318 to 303. "Four of
the eleven areas tracked by SOMLS actually saw an increase in numbers
of sales when compared to last year at this time", said Steve Blanton,
CEO of the Rogue Valley Association of REALTORS®. Average days on
market also fell slightly, dropping from 119 to 116.
