Kevin John Kirk

Kevin John Kirk, 54, of Redwater, TX, died March 13, 2009, in a Little Rock, AR hospital.
Mr. Kirk was born June 10, 1954 in Quincy, Mass. He attended Elmhurst High School in Ft. Wayne, IN and Indiana University. He was an electrical contractor and construction manager working in many locations around the world including Indiana, Alaska, Oregon, Russia and Kazakhstan, most recently for Fluor Corporation. Kevin whole-heartedly loved his family and friends; was passionate about music and travel adventures; and believed in love, laughter and the Lord.

Kevin had a knack of being able to take anything apart, put it back
together and make it better than it had been. He was known for a great
sense of humor and never met a stranger. Kevin was great with animals,
loved to help others, believed in staying busy and was tenacious and
honest. He will be missed by all who were honored to have known Kevin.
include his wife, Pamela Hime Kirk; son Seth and Lauren Kirk of White
City, OR; his parents, Richard and Audrey Kirk of Ft. Wayne, IN; two
brothers, Michael Kirk of Ft. Wayne, IN and Jim and Mary Kirk of Iowa
City, IA.; grandchildren Peyton and Rylynn Kirk of White City, OR;
niece and nephew Sage and William Kirk of Iowa City, IA.; his aunt,
Betty Mortensen of Houston, TX; brother-in-law Joe and Vickie Hime of
Paris, TX; sister-in-law Sarah and Walton Fujimoto of Scottsdale, AZ;
along with many other beloved family members.
Preceding him
in death are his mother and brother, Ruth Kirk and Richard Kirk, Jr. of
Fort Wayne, IN; Ted and Maryellen Boswell and Maurice Mortensen of
Houston, TX; Harold and Pat Hime of Texarkana, TX; Sam Hime of
Longview, TX.
A memorial celebration service of Mr. Kirk’s
life was held 2 pm, Tuesday, March 17,  at First Baptist Church Moores
Lane, Atrium, Texarkana, TX. He was laid to rest by his family and
friends at East Memorial Gardens.
