Two on So. Sky 2nd team, Tuttle on All Defensive

The Varsity boys basketball team dropped a 54-47 decision to Phoenix on Feb. 17.. After a rugged 1st half the Eagles righted the ship to cut the Pirates 11 point half time lead to 2 points entering the 4th period. Leading scorers for the Eagles were Logan Winter with 14 points and Austin Rowley and Austin Marlia with 8 points each. Logan Winter led with 3 assists and Derek Tuttle had 4 rebounds to lead the Eagles.
 

On Friday, Feb. 20  the Eagles traveled to Crater and dropped another
SSC game 66-53. After trailing by double digits for much of the game
the Eagles twice cut the Comet lead to 4 points, but could get no
closer. Austin Rowley led Eagle Point with 26 points and 6 rebounds.
Logan Winter added 13 points and 4 rebounds. Austin Marlia added 5
assists and Tyler VanDyke chipped in with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Varsity
Boys played their final league game of the season on  Feb.24. The
Eagles fell to the K.U. Pelicans by a score of 84-69. The Eagles kept
the game close until the middle of the 4th quarter when Klamath Union
made a run and put the game Away. Logan Winter led the Eagles with 20
points, followed by Austin Rowley with 18 points. The Eagles ended
their season with a 7-17 record.
The Southern Sky Conference held
their all-league selection meeting on Wednesday Feb. 25. The Eagles
were represented by senior Austin Rowley 2nd team, Sophomore Logan
Winter 2nd team, and senior Derek Tuttle who was selected to the
all-defensive team.
