Robert D. Cool, "Bob," 61, died at his home on April 13, 2009, after a long struggle with cancer.
He was born in 1947 in Klamath Falls, Ore. and graduated from Klamath Union with the Class of 1965. He served in the military during the Vietnam era until he was medically discharged.
Mr. Cool moved to the Rogue Valley in 1978 and became a successful business owner in Butte Falls for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his father, Walter D. Cool; two brothers, Jerry and Bill; three daughters, Robin Stephens, Leanna Cool and Angela Owens and 10 grandchildren. His love and loyalty to family was unsurpassed.
An informal gathering will be held at the Butte Falls Community Hall on Sunday, April 26, at 1 p.m. Some of Bob’s favorite dishes will be provided. Feel free to bring a dish and reminisce. Please RSVP by April 23 to (541) 621-4064 or (541) 865-7973.
