Student run golf tourney seeks entries

Senior projects are many and varied. One that will not only help the student get a grade but one that will benefit a well known cause, is one planned by EPHS senior Gunner Neet.
Gunner is planning a benefit golf tournament for the American Cancer Society at Stoneridge Golf Course on Apr. 25. The American Cancer Society and its needs are something Gunner knows about. His grandfather died of leukemia last August. Gunner knows about loss and suffering and wants to do his part to find a cure for the dreadful disease.
The tourney is a four-man scramble with the traditional 9 a.m. shotgun start. Prizes include 1st place gross and 1st place net, closest to the pin and longest drive. The entry fee is $50 per player, $200 for a foursome. This does not include the cart. For cart reservations, call the course at 830-4653.
Send your entry to Stoneridge Golf Course, 500 E. Antelope, Eagle Point, OR 97524. Or email Entries should include names, phone numbers, handicap and a check for the entry.
