Butte Falls to celebrate 4th with a parade

The Butte Falls parade theme is the 150th birthday of Oregon. Mayor Ron Ormond will be the Grand Marshal in honor of all he has  done for the community. The line up is 9:30 a.m. with the parade beginning at 11:00 a.m. There will be booths and games in the park. Two local restaurants will have BBQs.
Mayor Ormond was the recipient of the Jackson County Community Service Award on June 24 in recognition of his efforts for the community of Butte Falls. The award was presented by the Jackson County commissioners at their meeting.
