D9 seeks RFP for school

School District No. 9 is seeking proposals from qualified general contractor/architect teams for a design/build project for a 48,000 sq. ft. elementary school to be located on the property that previously housed Glenn D. Hale School, at Main and Tabor.

The RFP (request for proposal) is advertised in this issue. The RFPs will be opened at 2 p.m. July 14. According to the notice, the successful group of proposers will be selected by the district at a later date and may be scheduled for an interview and team presentation on July 27-28.

According to the RFP the district anticipates a project budget of no more than $9 million for the school and related site improvements.
