Elizabeth Ann Richardson, 78, of Eagle Point, died June 12, 2009 at Rogue Valley Medical Center, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 21, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late George and Elizabeth (Bandsuh) Mraz. She graduated from high school in 1950. On Feb. 12, 1955, she was united in marriage to Roger Lewis Richardson, in Maple Heights, Ohio.
In 1964, the couple moved to Southern Oregon. She worked for Rogue
Valley Hospital, Harry & David Corp., and later for Dogs for the
Deaf and then with her husband in their business, Richardson Welding.
was a nature lover and champion for all creatures great and small. Her
favorite pleasures were flowers, the coast, and winters in Parker,
Arizona and the many trips with her husband.
Mrs. Richardson is
survived by her husband, Roger; two sisters, Florence Gapp and Loretta
Rezac. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
brother, George Mraz Jr. and faithful companion, Valentine.
