Food preservation class

Rainey’s Corner, Hwy. 234 & Antioch, will host a food preservation class on Saturday, July 11, with live demonstrations by certified master food preservers from Oregon State Extension. Subjects covered will be water bath canning, pressure canning, dehydrating, freezing and food storage. The class will be run 10-12 n. Drinks and snacks will be provided. They will also test pressure canning lids for $1.
