Larry B. Dodenhoff

Larry B. Dodenhoff, 70, of Eagle Point, died July 8, 2009 in Eagle Point where he had been a resident for 60 years.

Larry was born to Burt and Hallie Dodenhoff in Merrill, Ore. The family moved to Lake Creek when he was nine, where they operated the Lake Creek Store, gas station and post office. They ranched there and called southern Oregon home thereafter.

Larry and his wife, Barbara, raised their family in Eagle Point. He worked as a saw filer in a local mill for 40 years prior to retiring.

He loved to laugh and visit with family, friends and co-workers. His favorite things were to hunt, fish and raise livestock with his grandkids.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Barbara, son Dale, of White City and three grandchildren; Kyle, of White City, Alison and Camron, both of Shady Cove.

The memorial service for Mr. Dodenhoff was July 13. Donations may be made to the Gospel Mission. Arrangements by Conger-Morris, Central Point Chapel.
