Charles James Lamb, 85, of Eagle Point, died Sept. 28, 2009, at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Lamb was born Sept. 14, 1924 in Detroit, Mich. He married Beverly Winslow, who survives, on Dec. 23, 1970. H served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot.
After retirement, he enjoyed C.B. Club, sailing and model cars. He was a member of American Legion Post 0114.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Milton Smith; daughters, Cheryl Smith-Miller, Lori Fernandez, Melony Scott and Cindy Scott; a sister, Corinne Rvelle, Florida; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Don and Ben Lamb; a son, Lance Richard Lamb and a grandson, Jaime Fernandez II.
A private family service will be held. Arrangements by Conger-Morris, Central Point.
