Michael Dane Everson, 53, of Eagle Point died Nov. 19, 2009.
He was born Sept. 8, 1956, in Seattle, Wash., to Herb and Bonnie Everson (McElroy) and had been a Rogue Valley resident since 1969.
He was truly a man of God and loved all people. He was an ordained minister and lay pastor at Victory Christian Fellowship. He married several couples throughout the years and was a biker evangelist with the Temple of God Motorcycle Ministry.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especailly fishing and hunting. He was a Nascar fan and his brothers biggest fan at the local dirt track. Oakland Raiders and Oregon ducks were favorite teams. Most of all he loved to share the love of Christ and a great example of a Christian and impacted many lives.
He is survived by his wife, Lauri Elizabeth Everson, whom he was married to for 30 years; daughter, Amy Janelle Heading; a son, James Adam (Scooter) Everson; three grandchildren; his father; sisters, Pamela Leigh Crowley, Lurinda Ruth and Patti Gail Lenz; brothers, Dean Herbert Everson, Terry Wayne Everson, Richard Lane Everson and David Blaine Everson; stepbrothers, Marty McElroy, Matthew McElroy and Russell McElroy.
