Shortly after, Mr. Phariss joined the U.S Air Force; Retta followed him as much as she could. They moved back to Oregon in 1969. She was employed with Harry & David for 19 years. Retta enjoyed life very much. She loved western music and dancing. She had no special hobbies, but would try anything. Always willing to help when called upon, Retta loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and she loved to travel in their motorhome.
Retta was Retta, and could never pretend to be anyone else but herself. Anyone who knew her would agree.
She leaves this message… “Enjoy life while you can and do the things you want to do.”
