Vivienne Mae Davis

Vivienne Mae Davis, 87, died on Nov. 24, 2009.

She was born in Central Point, Ore. on Nov. 4, 1922. She was proud of being a lifelong resident of the Rogue Valley, along with her rich Ross ancestry, which took root here in the valley over 150 years ago. Her great-great-grandfather was Col. John E. Ross, who was known for making peace with the Indians on Table Rock in 1853.

Through her years of life she enjoyed camping and fishing, doing the Grandparent program in Talent, playing bingo, doing crafts and raising houseplants.

We would like to express our appreciation to Dr. Husum for his many years of care. We would also like to thank Red Rock Cowboy Church for their ministry of blessing to our loved one and others at Eagle Cove Assisted Living.
She is survived by her daughter, Linae Kruis, and son, Marty Mingus, along with her grandchildren, Philip, Jeffrey and Gina Keith; Elisha, Jesse, Moriah and Keilah Kruis and Jordan Mingus, along with seven great-grandchildren.
A time of remembrance and praise to God is planned with family.
