Jimmie Delbert Roberts, 66, of White City, died Jan. 4, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Roberts was born May 22, 1943, in Montebello, Calif., the son of James and Dorothy Roberts. On Apr. 7, 1965, he married the love of his life, Linda Roberts, on her birthday. They soon moved to Oregon. Together they raised five children.
He enjoyed working many years at Rogue Disposal and became friends with many of his customers.
Mr. Roberts loved to go to yard sales and refurbish bikes. He was known to many as “the bike man.” He loved to play poker, listen to oldies music and do yard work.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Linda, his daughter, Lisa Taylor, of Eagle Point; sons, Ben Roberts, of White City, and Jammie Roberts, of Medford; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy Roberts, sister, Linda Woods; brother, Richard Roberts and his Uncle bud.
He was preceded in death and heartbroken by the loss of his beautiful daughter, Sharon Roberts; and his son and friend, Michael Roberts; his brother, Larry Roberts; and his father, James Roberts.
