At the end of the first day of the state wrestling competition in Portland, Eagle Point was in third place with 38 points. Hermiston was 1st with 55.5 points, Crater 2nd with 43 points. Churchill was only a half point behind Eagle Point and Lebanon was in fifth lace just one point behind the Eagles.
